“We used Recommended Decorators to revive our dark and tired looking hall and vestibule. Alan and his boys did a great job, from stripping off the old paper, preparing the walls and woodwork, through to hanging the lining paper and painting the whole thing. The house was kept as clean as possible throughout the works by meticulous tidying up at the end of each day. This huge job (in my view), which included 12 doors and a cupula above the stairwell, was completed within Alan’s estimated time and finished to a high standard. We talked with Alan about colours before the job started and he gave us really helpful advice on the best colours to use for a hallway – the shades he pointed us to made for a much lighter and better coordinated finish than those we had originally considered and we are delighted with the result.”
